Bradley Burdick was born and raised in the bay area. As a child he liked to look at paintings done by Monet, Leonardo D’Vinci, and Dali; these artists inspired him to want to paint, and at 13 he discovered a profound love for oil pastels, which are his main medium. After graduating high school he attended the Art Institute of California in San Francisco, majoring in Media Arts and Animation. His dream job is to be a storyboard artist.
Today he still resides in the bay area, and alongside his artwork he also likes to script and draw comics. He is inspired by his favourite artist, Eyvind Earle, for the beautiful scenes he created. Brad finds most of his inspiration from landscapes also; often painting both natural and domesticated scenes.
